One of the most enduring stories of the First Great War is the sacrifice of the Blue Shield and their defeat of the goblin army. What few realize about this story, however, is that the goblins who were trapped under the Grayvein Mountains did not die when the tunnels collapsed. Able to see in even the darkest depths, the goblins crawled out from under the rubble and made their way deeper under the mountain. Here they found the vast cavern that would become the city of Gobhollow. Allowed to fester in the darkness, this malignancy would grow for ages until the goblins rose once again to answer the call of Arethyr and fight in his fiery Legion.
